DialyticFlow features
DialyticFlow is dialysis management software for dialysis centres. It coordinates the operational side of the dialysis session: patient management, recurring treatment schedules, unit operations, arrivals and reminders, all in one platform that patients, nurses and managers each see through their own role.
Patient management
Patient profiles, their recurring session pattern and their own access to a schedule and reminders. Identifying information is encrypted at rest and visible only to staff whose role and unit assignment permit it.
- Recurring dialysis session patterns per patient
- Patient-facing schedule, reminders and arrival check-in
- Manager approval flow for patient self-registration
Treatment scheduling
Recurring dialysis sessions booked against real bed capacity rather than a blank calendar, so a schedule change is visible to the beds, shifts and staff it affects.
- Capacity-aware recurring bookings
- Reschedule requests with an optional manager-approval mode
- Per-unit shift times and bed counts
Dialysis unit management
One live view of the unit: who has arrived, who is in treatment, and which beds turn over next. Bed and nurse assignment happen against the unit’s actual configuration.
- Live unit board for the current shift
- Bed and nurse assignment
- Session timing and routine check tracking
Clinical reminders
Sessions, arrivals and routine checks are prompted automatically so they are not chased by phone. Visual alerts accompany every notification cue.
- Automatic session and arrival reminders
- Overdue-session and re-confirmation alerts to staff
- “I’m on my way” patient arrival signal to the unit
Role-based access
Every person sees only what their role and unit assignment permit. There is no shared login and no “admin sees everything” shortcut.
| Role | Scope | What they work with |
|---|---|---|
| Organisation admin | Across the organisation | Units, users, oversight and reporting across every site you run. |
| Unit manager | One or more units | Day-to-day unit operations, bookings, bed capacity and staff coordination. |
| Nurse / clinical staff | Their assigned shift | The patients on this shift, session timing, routine checks and handover notes. |
| Patient | Their own care only | Their schedule, reminders, arrival check-in and their own information. |
Security and data protection
- Role-based access control on every request
- Organisation isolation, so one provider cannot see another’s data
- Unit-level scoping for managers and nurses
- Encryption of identifying patient information at rest
- Append-only audit log of significant actions
- Consent capture, data-subject access and deletion, defined retention periods
These controls are built in line with the principles of POPIA, GDPR and comparable data-protection law. See the Privacy and Data Retention Policy for detail.
What DialyticFlow is not
DialyticFlow is an operational platform, not an electronic medical record. It does not replace your clinical record system and does not attempt prescribing, laboratory results, dialysis-machine integration or billing for clinical care. It works alongside those systems by coordinating scheduling, capacity, arrivals, staff and reminders around the session.
